We will be paying a deposit with the funds collected. Bentong dog has been brought to Bandar Puteri Vet by the rescuer. X-ray shows that the spine is broken. There will be treatment and boarding fees incurred along the way and it would be difficult for us to fund raise for the same dog again and the rescuer has no way settling the bill. This dog is in Bentong and we will be asking the rescuer to bring it down today. However, all the clinics we go to is packed with our rescues. We are thinking of one of the Animed branches. But we need to raise the deposit first and the Animed management has strictly told us no direct transfers. One of our volunteers received an SOS from Save The Strays ("STS"), a registered NGO from Johor. The shelter is currently in serious shortage of dog foods for their 300+ dogs.
