The Southern River Terrapins (Batagur affinis) are critically endangered due to the chronic consumption of their eggs, mortality from fishing gear and habitat destruction.
Together with the local communities, we established a few anti-poaching teams to protect the female terrapins and the eggs that they produce during the nesting season.

In Jan 2014, a friend in the UK emailed us about her German friend living in Malaysia. He had asked her to arrange with us to take care of his dogs and cats as he wanted to commit suicide. When we read the email, we asked a journalist friend to inform the police and get them to check out the address given to us.
