Ranga was brought to us last year after he was found limping by the side of the road, likely following a road traffic accident. His right hind leg was so badly injured that it had to be amputated.

Water, water everywhere… 🌧️
Last Friday was an eventful day at Soi Dog as we came in to find parts of the shelter flooded 😮
Heavy rainy season downpours had hit the north of Phuket overnight, breaching a canal in the local village which spilled over into nearby roads, rice fields and parts of the shelter too.
Our small dog and senior dog enclosures were among the affected areas, so staff rolled up their sleeves (and their trouser legs) and waded through the waters to help move them...

SOS SOS SOS We are in so much of need but when an emergency arises - we feel that the onus is on us to help. Someone reached out to us for help. He is an independant rescuer and feeder who has been maintaining 28 dogs at a temple near Batu Caves. Some of the dogs came down with parvo and six of them died. We were fully motivated when Micco & Mickey, our adopted dogs came to visit us at the adoption drive. 😘😘
They did help on associating with visitors. Hoping the visitors will give a home to those fur kids at the Venue, just like their papa adopted Micco at the same venue before MCO& later their pawsparent came to visit our shelter.
They saw another look like Micco . They decided to adopt & renamed to Mickey ( shorter legs) .
