Sangkar dalam gambar ini adalah sangkar Adoption menempatkan Dayang Sofea dan Maria Menado iaitu kucing yang sudah sedia dibuka untuk pengambilan sebagai anak angkat.

3 stray cats were caught last week from 2 areas, ie. 2 from Taman Mutiara Puchong and 1 from Kelana Jaya. They were sent in to our panel vets for neutering works and will be released after post-op recovery.

The first river terrapin nested on 25th January, and boy, we were excited! 💪🏻
Pics 1 and 2 show an excavator making steps down the cliff so that our Terrapin Guardians are able to safely go down to the river to get across.
Pics 3 and 4 show a set of terrapin tracks on the nesting bank. The sighting of these tracks prompted us set up our campsites on 3 nesting banks along the Kemaman River in anticipation of the nesting season.

We are once again flooded after a week of pouring rain.
Some of our sewing ladies have been evacuated to temporary shelters since Thursday last week.
Many areas in Chukai town are also underwater, including Kubang Kurus (Maybank, CIMB, RHB banks), low-lying Bukit Mentok, certain areas in Binjai and numerous villages in rural areas, including Kg. Pasir Gajah, Kg. Seberang Taylor, Kg. Dadong and Kg. Air Putih.

Taonarak’s furrytailending proves that blind dogs see with their hearts and sense love with their souls.
Taonarak was brought to our shelter in August last year after she caught a tick-borne disease that caused her to abruptly lose her vision. The streets are no place for a blind dog, but fortunately her feeder noticed changes in her behaviour and alerted us before she could come to any harm. Taonarak adapted well to the loss of her vision and refused to let it bring her spirits down.
