This is a lousy month for us. How not to rescue when you see a dog suffering on the streets? This dog has been splashed with hot water in Klang. We have no money and our bill in Gasing has skyrocketed again with cost incurred for our in house dogs that have been going there regularly. Now this poor dog is on the way to Gasing. Please help with the bill and deposit so that dog won't be turned away. Rescuer is bringing dog to Gasing now. Since we don't know gender yet, we have named Doggo Meru.

Over the past 10 years, Sasha Pesic has saved over 1100 dogs around the city of Nis, Serbia. The majority of the dogs were rescued from cruel conditions, they were abused and on the verge of death. Over 400 dogs have been happily adopted and are enjoying their new lives - full of love, safety and joy.

BORNEO, TICK BITE [EHRLICHIA]
Surrendered to #SPCASingapore, Borneo was found positive for Ehrlichia, a type of bacteria transmitted through being bitten by a tick. Commonly known as Tick Fever, it is a disease that causes various symptoms including fever, lethargy, and drop in appetite. It may even lead to bleeding disorder and become life-threatening.
Borneo has since received treatment at SPCA's Community Animal Clinic and is now free of clinical disease.

We are alarmed by the recent announcement made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the USA banning the importation of dogs for adoption from countries such as Thailand❗
The ban will come to effect on the 14th of July. The CDC announced that the decision was made due to the risk of rabies imposed by unvaccinated dogs who have arrived into the USA from so-called high-risk countries. Update on Mario:
1. Mario has been sedated just for thorough wound cleaning procedure
2. His left elbow got a huge necrotising wound with maggots. The vet have cleaned and debride some of the tissue
3. On his neck region, the skin doesnt look healthy and there is some tiny holes of maggot wounds
4. The vet suspect it could be hot water scalding at the neck region
5. He is in bad condition, so he is still on drip, antibiotics and pain killer
