Zarina was rescued by Zairul after he spotted her at the highway. He was on a motorbike at the time. He immediately called his wife and she brought the car over. The couple then brought Zarina and admitted her at Thomas Veterinary Clinic which is owned by Mathews Veterinary Services in Klang. Zarina is paralysed and we have agreed to take her. "Do turtles have ears?"
Yes, they do! Sea turtles, terrapins, softshell turtles and tortoises have ears. They do not have external ears but they have a thin "flap" or "scale" located behind their eyes, that covers their internal ear bones.
Their inner ear can distinguish certain wavelengths (sound) and vibration in the water and on land. It helps them navigate underwater, and detect changes in water pressure that might indicate a predator is nearby.

⚠ Graphic Images ⚠ Arjum was found by local residents with an enormous maggot wound on her head. Her injury was probably caused by a dog or monkey bite, and it could have cost her her life. She was only 21 weeks when she was rescued, but she had already been through way too much for any dog 😱💔.
