BREAKING NEWS: A successful Petition submission and meeting with Y.B. Datuk Chor Chee Heung, Minister of Housing & Local Government, Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, government reps and animal welfare NGOs.
Blanket ban to be imposed with IMMEDIATE effect on local councils nationwide on shooting or instant killing of strays. Ministry will support NGOs in follow up plans on managing strays, differential licensing to encourage spaying/neutering and tighter legislation.
