RESCUED STRAY BECOMES 1ST DOG TO SCALE MOUNT EVEREST
A homeless dog rescued from a dump has become a mountaineer after trekking to 17,000ft above sea level to Mount Everest base camp. Rupee is believed to be the first dog officially recorded at the base camp after he joined owner Joanne Lefson on the trip.

Dot the Bearded Cat is a female calico kitten with a beard! Rescuer named her Dot because she has a black fur spot near her mouth like Cindy Crawford and as for the beard, look at the pictures!

SPCA Selangor, Malaysia's Eco Shelter ground-breaking ceremony this morning, initiated by Ms. Mea Whitley, the founder of SPCA Selangor almost 6 decades ago! Still sharp and witty, this compassionate lady is a true inspiration indeed.
The new shelter will hopefully be ready in 18 months, with a sharper focus on education and long term solutions towards stray and welfare issues. Some really sweet animals are still urgently awaiting adoption there too.

Urgently in search of a permanent home as neighbours sometimes complain about them, or stones are being thrown at them by naughty kids.
