What Is Declawing A Cat?
Declawing is not merely the trimming of the claws. It is the surgical removal of the claws, which are closely adhered to the bone. In order to remove the claw and prevent its regrowth (which sometimes results from incomplete removal), the entire first joint of each of the cat's "toes" is amputated.
This procedure is often likened to amputation of all a human's fingers to the first knuckle. You can imagine the subsequent pain.

A dog walked nearly 200 miles to find the woman who cared for her after a hit-and-run in Russia.
The female canine, named Shavi, was living as a stray on the streets of Rostov-on-Don in southwest Russia's Rostov Oblast region last winter when she was hit by a driver, who then fled the scene.

If you care about your best friend would you care about where he / she came from? Most pets bought online or from pet stores do not have a very happy beginning to start with, nor do they have happy parents.
