It's been a challenging MCO period for us and the animals too, like this poor pup and her siblings who were rescued yesterday and brought in to us -- full of ticks, malnourished and scared.
Over the last 2 months, we have had a significant drop in visitors, adoptions and donations. “Calls for tighter controls at airports, banning unregulated movement of animals and limiting human-animal contact will give us little protection if we continue to provide the perfect environments for these diseases to thrive.
"Hundreds of thousands of animals are crammed in factory farms enabling giving viruses the perfect opportunity to mutate, become more deadly and to jump to humans. The most logical and best form of protection is to go vegan and stop the disease at source.”

How a bout a tour of the kitties in our centre during MCO?
We are reopening cats adoption! Please adhere to the MCO guidelines, and we are also only allowing 2 people in the cattery at any given time, so make sure you call first 03 4256 5312 (Tuesday to Sunday 10am-4pm).
*if you're over 10KM from us, please check with your nearby police station if you can travel first! Stay safe stay positive!
