Under The Royal Patronage Of Dymm Tengku Permaisur.. 16th Jul 2020, by SPCA Selangor
Under the royal patronage of DYMM Tengku Permaisuri Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, Stray Free Selangor Programme has successfully subsidised a total of 6,470 animals from April 2017 to 30th June 2020.
455 male dogs
1924 female dogs
1298 male cats
2793 female cats
Neutering of a total of 6470!

Rescuing Work Is Not Just Picking Up And Putting T.. 16th Jul 2020, by SPCA Selangor
Rescuing work is NOT just picking up and putting them anywhere, it requires a lot of time to rehabilitate, to treat, and to rehome (best case scenario: EACH animal requires quarantine 2 weeks + rehabilitation/introduction to existing pack 2 weeks + rehoming 6 months or longer); just ask any experienced rescuers, but the best moment is when you're able to find your rescued animals a forever home.
From time to time we have dumping like these, without medical history, not sure where they come from...

• Most egg-laying hens live their entire lives in battery cages smaller than a letter-sized piece of paper!
• Caged hens cannot spread their wings or engage in natural behavior such as nesting, perching, or dustbathing.

✅ Cage-free hens are able to walk, spread their wings, socialize with other hens, perch, dust-bathe and lay their eggs in nests.
