PRAYER OF A STRAY
Dear God please send me somebody who'll care!
I'm tired of running, I'm sick with despair.
My body is aching, it's so racked with pain.
And Dear God I pray as I run in the rain,
That someone will love me and give me a home.
A warm cozy bed I can call my own
My last owner neglected me and chased me away
To rummage in garbage and live as a stray.
But now God I'm tired and hungry and cold.

Happy Tails From SPCA!

"Rafiki (called "Chocolate" at the SPCA) had her unofficial 6th birthday recently - we took her home from the SPCA Selangor Animal Shelter on the 4th February 2007 when she was about one year old.
We have been back in the UK since July 2010 and Rafiki has adapted extremely well to the somewhat cooler climate here. She loves spending time in the garden even when it's around about freezing. She is such a happy and loving dog - we couldn't have chosen a better one!"

Hi guys, don't forget to drop by our Lovers & Leashes event TOMORROW 12th Feb 2012 from 12noon - 8pm at Jaya One! There will be a street bazaar, photo session with the 'Goddess of Love' Thanuja Ananthan, off-leash play-pen, Best Dressed Doggie contest and even a doggy disco. Hi all, if there is an urgent case e.g. dog involved in accident/ trapped/ etc please call us at 4256-5312/ 4253-5179 instead of posting on FB. This will allow us to respond to the case faster, unfortunately we don't have 24-hour rescue services so we will need to try and attend to it within office hours. Save our phone number, folks!

Animals Looking For A Home This Week!

Beautiful Bella is a 6-month old kitten, with a lovely character . She had slash wounds on her back, and a kind passerby had picked her up and brought her to the animal shelter. It’s hard to imagine that anyone could hurt such a sweet, gentle kitty. She has since been treated and neutered, and is ready to go home with a family who will love and protect her!
