Since the pandemic began, we have had a significant drop in visitors, adoptions and donations. We need your help to help us continue our work for the animals -- sheltering and rehoming rescued animals, education programs, low-cost/high-volume spay-neuter, government lobbying and our Stray Free Selangor campaign!

Approx 2 month old puppy, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas and mites. Vet expects her to be small/medium sized when fully grown (< 12 kg), good bone structure and stride. Golden short fur (easy to care for) and rare gold irises (eyes)
Nutmeg is spunky, inquisitive, loving, playful, thrives on human attention and feeds well. She is a very good dog in that she doesn’t bark when left alone.
She survived tough odds abandoned and alone before she rescued and deserves a good home -

Meat Accounts For Nearly 60% Of All Greenhouse Gases From Food Production, Study Finds 14th Sep 2021, by SPCA Selangor
“The use of cows, pigs and other animals for food, as well as livestock feed, is responsible for 57% of all food production emissions, the research found, with 29% coming from the cultivation of plant-based foods. The rest comes from other uses of land, such as for cotton or rubber. Beef alone accounts for a quarter of emissions produced by raising and growing food.”

Despite Covid challenges, Stray Free Selangor campaign under the royal patronage of Tengku Permaisuri Selangor continues to help neuter the strays in Selangor. To date the total number of animals neutered is 7,876 lucky dogs & cats. The breakdown:

For months, SPCA Selangor, as a member of the Open Wing Alliance, was engaged in this campaign to persuade Yum! Brands, which owns KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell, and Yum!
