In May 2013, the SPCA Inspectorate Team received yet another complaint regarding the selling of domestic animals in a wet Market here in Kuala Lumpur. The Team has been receiving similar reports on cases such as this in places all over the Klang Valley while for this case, the Team had visited the same Market a few times. May 2013 - Members of the public are urged to go to any Body Shop outlet or SPCA at Jalan Kerja Ayer Lama to sign the petition urging our government to get the first Malaysian Animal Welfare Bill out by 2013. NTV7 Feel Good Run!
MAY 2013 - We have been chosen as one of the beneficiaries for the NTV7 Feel Good Run 2013! It will be held on 7th July 2013 from 6am to 10.30am - beginning at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama and finishing at Central Park, One Utama. All proceeds from the run will be channelled to four beneficiaries — Hospis Malaysia, Malaysian Rare Disorders Society, Rumah Kanak-Kanak Tengku Budriah and SPCA Selangor.

NST, 18 MAY 2013 - About 100 golfers took part in the ProDiet Golf Championship at Kelab Golf Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam, recently. The tournament was organised by Pet World Marketing Sdn Bhd. and SPCA Selangor.
