SPCA Selangor is part of the Asia-wide campaign to urge #McDonalds to commit to sourcing 100% cage-free eggs in Asia!
McDonald’s in USA, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand have already made a 100% cage-free egg commitment, while McDonald’s competitors, KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King, and Subway have already made global cage-free egg commitments.

2 adorable dogs for adoption!
"Two family dogs looking for a new, loving home. Family has left Malaysia and is unable to return. Current caretaker due to move soon. Oliver and Essie have been together since September 2017. Oliver (Ollie) was found in a drainage ditch in November 2016, when he was 4-6 weeks old. Essie was adopted from the Selangor SPCA in September 2017 so Ollie could have company. It is estimated that Ollie is 5.5 years old while Essie is 6.5 years old.

2020 and 2021 had been a challenging period for us and the animals!
Since the pandemic began, we have had a significant drop in visitors, adoptions and donations. We need your help to help us continue our work for the animals -- sheltering and rehoming rescued animals, education programs, low-cost/high-volume spay-neuter, government lobbying and our Stray Free Selangor campaign!

Our Plant-Based Campaign Unit has kicked off to an enthusiastic start since its inception late last year. Our first Plant-Based Workshop was thoughtfully curated for Shelll Malaysia in December 2021 in conjunction with their Happiness Week internal program. We presented to 40 participants - which is amazing for a public holiday! - how a plant-based diet supports mental and physical health, followed by a Happy Rainbow Ramen recipe that can be easily prepared and brought to work.
