A day in the life of an AWO: Cats are rotated into and out of the purr-therapy room (also knows as edu room A). This means every single cat has the chance to socialise, play, stretch their legs and run around.
Meanwhile all their cages are cleaned and ready with food and water for when they go back.

2-month old stray female kitten found in front of rescuers house, 3 nights ago. Kitten is on our waiting list as we are full, we have advised rescuer to give kitty 1st vaccination in the meantime.

Pup needs a home URGENTLY, please SHARE!
Stray 2-month old female pup, found in care undercarriage. The rescuer took the pup to her place of work but has been given a warning by the council. She lives in a condo, and most residents also not comfortable with dogs around.

Our team of Rohan, Kelvin, Nizar and Heng coordinated the effort to bring in one stray mama dog and her 6 one-week-old pups, who were on our waiting list to come in. The pups were taking shelter under a car, and kind Mrs Isaac has been caring for the mama dog. The owner of the car was kind enough to leave the car idle to as not to disturb the pups.
We now have several moms + their young litters of puppies taking refuge in our centre - meaning we will have tonnes of healthy, vaccinated pups look...

A day in the life of an AWO: Dog walking! Every dog above 4 months old gets a 20-30 minute walk. Some dogs are nervous, have never Walked on leash before, or can be aggressive towards other dogs or humans. These need special care and socialization.
We are walking dogs until 12 noon or 12.30. If we are understaffed or don't have volunteers, staff will walk around 10 dogs or more. On an average day each staff walks 5-8 dogs.

Our part time staff Mani hanging out with Whiskey. Mani was scared of Whiskey at first but now they're best friends!
Whiskey is FOR ADOPTION, a 6 year old German Shepherd, neutered, vaccinated and heartworm negative. He totally LOVES people but can't live with other dogs, or cats. He also loves to swim!

Jamaica is a dog who needs to be your one and only!
She's 2 years old, mixed breed, neutered and vaccinated
Jamaica loves two things more than any other: humans and open spaces. However she HATES to share! She has to be your one and only dog, your true doggy love! She has to be able to run free, so you should have a big garden for her.

Mitch is a 3-4 years old male Spitz mix who is neutered and vaccinated

Report:
Injured cat near Dang Wangi LRT: no pix, is all black, juvenile or adult(medium build), walks on 3 legs, 4th leg is wrapped in wire and withered; when at that location is usually in front of mamak, next to UDA Holdings construction site.
Please keep an eye out for this cat, person who reported willing to treat cat but can't find cat now. Call us at 42565312 if you see the car and can help temporarily confine. Thanks!
