The Animal Welfare Act 2015 (AWA) was gazette on 29 th Dec 2015. It is a superb transformational game changer. 👍👏
Section 24 stipulates Duties and Responsibilities of Pet Owners and noncompliance will be rm 15,000-75,000! And 3 year jail term
Section 29 stipulates 21 cases of cruelty and abusers will be fined rm25,000-100,000 and 3 year jail term
A whole new contingent of Animal Welfare Officers will be hired and trained to enforce the law🙏💪

Toto was abandoned at the Section 17 market a few months ago. He had mange.He has been treated, vaccinated & neutered by a community rescuer. He was released back to the market & parked himself at Sports Toto. Everybody knows him as he is very friendly. Unfortunately, he was caught by MBPJ few days ago. Rescuer managed to claim him, and we have taken him into SPCA. He is about 1 yr old, and will make a great family pet! Drop by to meet him 10am-4pm, Tue - Sun!

We named her Aurora. This sweet-faced angel was dumped at SPCA more than a month ago, due to lack of space and resources we had to board her at a private vet for treatment for almost 3 weeks. We could tell from her condition that she was severely neglected by her previous owner. Her skin condition was severe and had to be treated at a private vet. We are seeking for donations to cover her vet bill of RM1,248. Please help us so we can continue to help other dogs in need. . Thank you so much for h...

Meet one of our rescued dogs, Cookie.
An animal rescuer asked if we could take her in, Cookie looked like she has been hit by a car. We sent her to a private vet for a check-up, but thankfully the vet said she looks to be in good order and no X-ray was needed. Her wounds are healing well. Please contact us if you can give Cookie a good life, it's not safe for her on the streets!
We are open Tue-Sun 10am-4pm!

URGENT!
2 cats locked up in a condo unit yesterday with no sign of their owner (a tenant), our inspector has already helped to remove them with the help of the unit owner. Person who is fostering can only take care of them till Saturday. Location Taman Connaught. Contact Selina (seli_na10@yahoo.com) if you can foster or adopt these 2 poor cats!
