This is Grace! One and a half years old, a Ridgeback-mix. A calm, gentle and observant lady who would make a great companion! And look at that sleek, glossy coat :)

Rescuers Ah Lai and Faye manage community dogs and strays at the Ampang and Kepong markets. They were having trouble catching these two wary strays, so we lent them our dog trap and it worked! We support them with low-cost neutering, monthly food supply from our Food Bank, and take in some dogs for rehoming when we have space. Keep up the great work you do, Ah Lai and Faye!

Comfort dog, Mama Soda , is so happy welcoming kids from iskl volunteer program. Her beginnings were not so happy. As a stray who visits spca regularly for food, she would steal the kibbles and run away. We decided to catch and spay her. After 2 weeks of spay post op care, she was released to roam away , if she wanted. But she decided to stay on and shows her gratitude by being an enthusiastic hostess with the mostest😀😀 We have such a soft spot for her. The streets are not welcoming to the...

A passerby heard kitten crying under the overpass between Jalan Kiara 5 and Jalan Kiara 3, anyone nearby can rescue and foster the kitten for a month before we can bring him in as we have flu outbreak at the moment :'( ?

8 wonderful kids joined our inaugural Puppy Pawty. The puppies are clean, dewormed, vaccinated and just loved the cuddles ! If your kids ( 2 to 14) want to join our next Puppy Pawty on 22/10 , 2-4 pm, please book at events@spca.org.my 👍👍👍Its a great way to introduce your kids to a fun time w our pups while learning basic puppy handling, dog bite prevention , puppy training demo. Another day, another group come to volunteer at our shelter. We had a great bunch of students from IGBIS yesterday who completed our Pet Care Programme (PCP), getting hands on with assistance at our shelter and learning about animal handling. Thanks for all your enthusiasm, folks!

World renowned primatologist and conservationist, Dr. Jane Goodall will be visiting Malaysia again next month as part of her Southeast Asia tour to promote environmental conservation and advocacy! Dr. Goodall is scheduled to give a talk for about 2,000 attendees on 29 October 2016 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
