The Faculty of Shariah and Law of the Islamic Science University of Malaysia hosted a symposium to discuss laws protecting animals in research in Malaysia. They have invited the SPCA Selangor, represented by Dr Natasha Lee, to give talk about civil society and how the public view this issue. Also in attendance are representatives from the DVS, PERHILITAN, LASAM (Lab Animal Science Assoc. of Malaysia) and several other academics and research institutions.

🎤🎤🎤🎤We hv just discovered that Pepper our 8 year old Chow chow is missing.
If anyone has seen him in the Bangsar area pls do contact us.He is on meds and we are worried sick. He is wearing a red collar.

being cared for by rescuers and sanctuaries - we would really

"PCP was fun, interactive and educational. It was great to meet the caring staff and all the wonderful animals. Everyone was very supportive and I learnt some new skills. I enjoyed it so much that I have decide to come back as a volunteer. I just can't get enough of SPCA!"

We receive many requests for help from members of the public daily. We realize that many cannot afford to pay to vaccinate/ neuter their rescued animals, so last year we started a fund to cover these expenses and relieve their financial burden a little. If you are in a position to help, we would really appreciate it if you could sponsor a vax & spay for animals in need!
