SPCA Interns Wanted!
Interns will be introduced to Non-Governmental Organization working environment which mainly involves practical work such as caring and handling for pet animals, cleaning and organizing kennels and cattery, managing cat and dog food and supplies as well as learning the behavioral and medical aspects of animal welfare.

Due to the recent case reported by Harian Metro (please click link to read more about it) regarding a growing taste for cat meat amongst foreign workers in Malaysia (cats stolen, slaughtered and sold in the Black market), SPCA Selangor is now taking this matter urgently and would like to invite you to join us by signing this petition.

"But it all changed 10 years ago. It started when we decided to rescue cats and take care of them under our wing,” Tasha told Rojak Daily.
“We usually find them on roadsides, drains, mosques, mamak stalls, and petrol stations. Some of them are frail and sick, some are just homeless. There were also cases when we actually bought them from the pet store because we were so kesian of how small the cage that they were put in.”

We rescued this old dog with a badly infected head wound from a temple. The person who reported and asked for help for him has already found a home in a farm for this dog after he recovers.

Please make a donation for Simon's vet treatment and care (estimate RM1,500) -- any excess will be kept in the SMURF fund for other urgent cases of strays needing medical treatment.

We rescued this dog which had run into a house in Bangi and refused to leave. There was a huge infected wound where the tail had been.
