Today, we say goodbye to our dear departed senior SPCA dog, Sherry.
She was one of the last original dogs from our old shelter and has warmed us with her presence for over 15 years. She has lived a good long life, was loved unconditionally and will always be remembered.
Rest in Peace, sweet darling girl.

We receive many requests for help from members of the public daily. We realize that many cannot afford to pay to vaccinate/ neuter their rescued animals, so last year we started a fund to cover these expenses and relieve their financial burden a little. If you are in a position to help, we would really appreciate it if you could sponsor a vax & spay for animals in need!

On the 28th July, we celebrated the 51st birthday of our senior staff, Muniandy! He has served SPCA Selangor for over 30 years as an Animal Welfare Assistant cum Cleaner we decided to throw a little celebration as a token of our appreciation to him.

A sneak peak of the 2000 pieces of what could be the Largest Mosaic made of Crayons in the world!
We are now at Cheras Leisure Mall! Be sure to come and participate as we attempt the Guiness World Record and Malaysian Book of Records to create 'The biggest Mosaic made of Crayons'! in which one participation fee costs only RM10 and all fund collected will proceed to SPCA Selangor. :)

This will be the last week for you to join and be a part in making history! Do stop by Cheras Leisure Mall to participate in Animal Tales Charity Program which is the attempt to set a Malaysian Book of Records and World Guinness Record for the 'Biggest Mosaic Made of Crayons' with only Rm10 as participation fee. JUST BECAUSE YOUR PET IS OLD DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT FOR YOU TO DUMP IT!!
Last night at about 10pm we found a senior Golden Retriever tied up to our gate without the ex-owner so much of even showing their faces to us. The Retriever was malnourished, skinny, quiet and it looked confused but was friendly when we approached it. Dumping your pets is heartless, irresponsible and most of all, criminal!
