SPCA Selangor Food Bank Appeal

We provide food monthly for more than 100 cats and dogs, who are
being cared for by rescuers and sanctuaries - we would really
appreciate donations of canned food or kibbles!

We are looking for Animal Welfare Assistants (AWAs) and kennel/ cattery cleaners. You will be working hands-on with the animals, helping to keep them clean, fed, socialized and happy! Animal-handling experience necessary.

On the 2nd of August, Cheras Leisure Mall has made a historic mark in the Malaysian Book of Records for the 'Biggest Mosaic Made of Crayons' which was carried out in the Animal Tales event held from 15th until the 31st of July. With the tremendous help and participation from the public as well as their patience and dedication to sit all day and 'colour' each mosaic piece, they have successfully raised a whooping total of RM 45,000.00 which will be donated to SPCA Selangor.

Today, we say goodbye to our dear departed senior SPCA dog, Sherry.
She was one of the last original dogs from our old shelter and has warmed us with her presence for over 15 years. She has lived a good long life, was loved unconditionally and will always be remembered.
Rest in Peace, sweet darling girl.

We receive many requests for help from members of the public daily. We realize that many cannot afford to pay to vaccinate/ neuter their rescued animals, so last year we started a fund to cover these expenses and relieve their financial burden a little. If you are in a position to help, we would really appreciate it if you could sponsor a vax & spay for animals in need!

On the 28th July, we celebrated the 51st birthday of our senior staff, Muniandy! He has served SPCA Selangor for over 30 years as an Animal Welfare Assistant cum Cleaner we decided to throw a little celebration as a token of our appreciation to him.
