This is a story of another case of abandoned pet! She was named Roxy.. This happened last week. The dogs in our volunteer's house were all barking non-stop that night. As not to cause disturbance to the neighbour, our volunteer and family member went outside to check on what is happenning. They were greeted by a German Shepherd in front of their house. Sophia was rescued from Batu Pahat (BP) by our volunteer recently. She was lying side way, with stinky smell from her seriously injured foreleg. The wounds were badly infected and full with pus, even with broken bones stuck out from the flesh. Huang Po Po, our precious very old Golden Retriever has left us last month. She went quietly in peace. She will be sorely missed.She was with us since the very beginning of the establishment of H.O.P.E. She was abandoned by her owner due to her old age. During that time, she can’t even stand and even the vet had given up hope on her. The vet suggested that to put her down. We do not encourage in euthanization.
