The Worst Is Apathy 19th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
I was reading something someone wrote about Trump recently. This author says, for every hate tweet that he sends out, let’s turn it into a force for good.
Imagine if, for every Trump tweet, millions of people around the world gave a few pennies each. When he calls women ‘dogs’, we’d fund the fight for women’s rights. When he denies climate change, we’d power the defence of our planet. And when he lies, we’d fund fact-checkers and promote the truth.

Please Keep Your Animals Indoors (animals Are The Victims) 19th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
I’d like to share this story with all animal caregivers.
It happened about a week ago. A caregiver of CNRM-ed dogs said a few of her neutered and ear-notched dogs were captured by the authorities one morning. Her friends SAW the workers capturing the dogs and putting them into their trucks.
It was only after one day that she was able to go to the pound to retrieve her dogs, but when she got there, her dogs were not there. The pound person-in-charge said the authorities did not bring in any...

CNRM Work In Johor (from Nujtiya Chareansouk) 18th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
Nujtiya Charensouk first started her CNRM work in Kangar, Perlis, helping her mother with street dogs. That was way, way back in 2013 where we helped with our neutering, medical and food aid.
She stays in Johor and has been doing very effective and admirable CNRM work there as well. We have since helped Nujtiya with the neutering of 99 dogs and 4 cats over the years and when we were short on funds a new months ago, Nujtiya voluntarily “graduated” herself and started donating ba...

Intruder Alert!! Buddy Attacks!! 16th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
Today, the lanky ginger intruder came again…..
This time, I had my phone with me.
Guess who was fighting him off?
BUDDY!
Looks like Buddy regards our porch as HIS territory now.
Ginger lent some strength in terms of a few soft war-cries, but he seemed quite unperturbed. Is it because Lanky is also a ginger cat? Aha!! Racism?? Or, is it because Ginger is saying, “Hah!! Serves you right, Buddy….now, you fight, I’m not helping you!”
But Mr Zurik was scared. ...

The Eating Problem Now 16th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
I think it’s because all the cats have been having a plethora of food lately, due to Vincent’s left-overs, now they are demanding for… “a plethora of food”!
Tabs hasn’t been eating raw food for sometime now. She’s been eating up whatever Vincent leaves behind. It was only today that she has started back on raw food. By the way, that plate is not meant for her. It’s meant for the Cow Clan.
Perhaps only Bunny is still the same – he eats ever...

And The Butterflies Came 16th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
They always do.
After Vincent’s ashes came back yesterday, I went out to the patio to take a phonecall and the butterflies came.
There was a yellow one and a white one. Both were frolicking happily at the flower bush.
They were there for sometime, in the bright sunlight.
They looked very happy.
It is said that: The butterfly is a spiritual symbol for life after death because of its metamorphosis, or transformation, from a caterpillar that crawls on the ground to a beautiful,...
