Not Ginger’s Turn, But Bunny And Indy’s

I remembered that Cow needed 5 days’ antibiotics before his dental scaling and extraction, so I asked the vet if Ginger needed it too, especially since Ginger is also FIV+. The vet said yes, it would be better to do the antibiotics prophylaxis. This means, Ginger cannot get his dental done today.
Instead, the vet said I could bring Bunny and Indy for a review and follow-up blood test.

Ginger’s Turn Today

Today is Ginger’s turn to go to the vet’s for a review and if his blood test is “okay” and everything else is okay, it would be his turn for the scaling and extraction of one bad tooth.
I decided Ginger would be next because his previous BUN and creatinine readings were within the normal range (lowest compared to everyone else) though his SDMA was at 15. I discussed this with the vet and she agreed that Ginger should be next.

Their Only “crime” Is To Exist

Ideally, we wish the local councils would not catch street animals.
Ideally, we wish the majority of humans would accept the presence of street animals in our environment.
There are animal organisations (like ours) and there are caregivers who would gladly do their very best to get these animals neutered and returned to their colonies. And everyone, human and animal, can live harmoniously and peacefully without resorting to killing.
That is the ideal world.

“Kuning” Makes A Beeline To The Back

Ginger escaped this evening due to a partially opened door.
When I saw the small gap at the door, I immediately went out and spotted Ginger on the ledge, making a beeline to the back.
He looked VERY determined.
I kept calling him back, rushed in to get the kibble jar, but nothing worked.
Unfortunately, I had also just fed him so he wasn’t hungry.
