Today is my mum’s 86th birthday!
We had dinner at our favourite little cafe, Little Wonders at SS18/6, Subang Jaya.
This is the specially ordered vegetarian creation – it’s not on the menu.
The gravy is mild but very pleasant and it makes you feel “healthy” eating it!!

Indy’s Subcut

It seemed like Indy knows it’s his subcut day today!
He escaped from Bunny’s Room by slipping past me when I opened the grille. He then made a dash to see Zurik who was sitting on the armchair, then another dash (yes, Indy only moves in dashes!) around the sofa followed by a lightning dash upstairs!

I had another encounter with another rude applicant this evening, during my dinner! It was through text messages and voicemail.
To cut a long story short, this one was in cohorts with the previous one, so both are out now. It’s best they seek help elsewhere.

I would like to apply neutering aid for a female stray cat living near a temple in KL. She has had several litters before, the last one was 2 months ago.
Managed to catch her and get her neutered on 28/4/19 and released her today. The temple people feed her daily as she goes there for food. I will see her whenever I go to the temple.

We have provided an aid of RM240 for the neutering of these 4 cats.
This is a special provision (project-based) made for Puan Nik as she wanted to transport all these cats back to her kampung out of state. We have already helped her with 5 cats prior to this. She has 5 more kittens to be neutered later back in her kampung.

It must be the season.
I had another unpleasant encounter with an old applicant. She sent me voicemails asking if she could get another dog neutered and claim from us. So I replied saying we have new requirements now. I dug out her record and she has since claimed for 25 dogs under us. So I told her we needed updates and photos of these 25 dogs because we need to know if they are being looked after. I gave her 24 hours to send me photos of the ones she is still feeding...

Bunny’s Subcut And The New “Stay In Chicken” From Solid Gold

Today is Bunny’s subcut day.
This morning, I noticed he was straining a bit to defecate, so I gave him 2ml of Lactulose.
Hence, I decided to give him 200ml of fluids in the subcut since the function of Lactulose is to absorb water into the intestines to facilitate defecation. Good to replenish the “lost’ fluids.
Bunny’s twice-weekly subcut is for a two reasons: (1) Constipation; (2) his SDMA reading of 18 and creatinine level of 199 (in April 2019).
