A request from my cousin, Lian:Attached are photos of a mother dog and her three female pups (by now about three months) belonging to my neighbour. The father is a rottweiler/mongrel. CP was there at the clinic to send Chewie off to her new home. CP managed to give some energy healing to Chewie before she went off. According to her, Chewie is weak, but is definitely a fighter. I went to the clinic again later this afternoon. We had another new case there so I had to discuss the prognosis with the vet. Also, I was very anxious to check on Chewie. Please Pray For Chewie (possible Blood Parasite Infection)

I reached the clinic after work today and was told Chewie is not doing very well. She has suddenly become very pale this morning, and the vet suspects that it may be due to a blood parasite which had been in existence in her body, but is now manifesting and causing an infection. The course of action is to stop the earlier antibiotics (meant for the lungs and the wound in the paw) and start her on Baytril and Doxycycline, the latter of which is very effective against the blood parasit...

A friend who is keen to do his part in CNRM managed to capture a cat in Kota Kemuning two nights ago, and he wrote to me saying there appears to be a "hole"in one ear. He asked if he should send the cat for spaying again. I said the best is to send the cat to be examined by a vet and the vet would be able to tell (with more certainty) if the "hole" has been deliberately made. The "Cool One" Is Pregnant!

Peggy Tiong's "cool cat" was found to be pregnant by our vet today! So, she wasn't spayed. Peggy has since released her back to the colony. After her delivery and when her babies have weaned off, Peggy will attempt to catch her again and get her spayed then.

Heng Ngoh is a coffee shop owner in Old Klang Road. She has been very kind to animals and also to us - she helps promote our tshirts to her customers and had even bought one for each of her workers.
