Mr Zurik’s High Spaces

Zurik’s appetite has been on and off lately. On some days, it’s good, and on some, not so. I’ve discovered the trick, though. I think Ginger and Heidi intimidate him when he is eating by just sitting next to him, sniffing at him or staring at him. Zurik doesn’t like this.
Zurik is sensitive to being stared at. So during the communal eating, he doesn’t eat much.
So, the trick is to let him on his own, in his own safe space, preferably high up.

Jon Tham and Adrian Yao finished the bike ride at Bukit Rotan at 7.30pm this evening. Although they did not reach Subang Jaya as planned, it was, without a doubt, a truly remarkable and amazing effort on their part!

They reached Kg Lekir at 7.02am.

Zurik had been doing his “jerks” for more than a week, but that has stopped now. That’s good. One less thing to wonder or worry about!
We started on the reduced steroids (half dose once in two days) on Saturday. So far, his breathing is still as per normal but his appetite is also not as good as before. Maybe the previous good appetite was due largely to the steroids. I hope that is the reason.
