Our Two Events Yesterday

Thanks to Nandhini, who did all the reccee work in looking for the two places, ie. Desapark City and Solaris Dutamas, we managed to find the venues.
However, when we arrived at Desapark City, it was raining rhinoceroses and hippopotamuses! We were stranded and could not unload our stock. And the rain was very persistent, too. It poured, it subsided, and it poured again, and this went on and on for at least an hour.
But believe me, Desapark City is out-of-this-world. I didn’t know...

Welcome To Our New Website!!

Hi there, everyone!
Here’s our new website, and I must begin by conveying my utmost thanks to Huey and Wah (of Geekyhost) for toiling through many, many hours with me in the past one week with the design of this website and everything that came with it. It took Wah about 24 hours to import everything over from Blogger and that was because their backend host happened to be doing maintenance and upgrading work at the same time!

There will be no postings from now (Saturday, 1.00pm) until Monday (or earlier), as we are doing a migration from our Blogger to WordPress. PayPal Charges A Commission Plus Another Fee

Dear all,
We thank everyone who has been donating to us, and after we set up a PayPal donation facility, some local donors have also started using PayPal without realising that it is a lot more cost-effective to just pay the RM2 interbank bank transfer (if you do not have an account with PBB) than to pay PayPal’s commission.
I had initially thought the commission was about 4%, but this is not so for smaller amounts. It could be as high as 8%! Our latest two donations of RM50 and...

Jackie Laid To Rest In Melaka

Catherina came down to UPM to collect Jackie's remains this morning.Jackie has been laid to rest now, back home, in Melaka.She is already in a better place now, free from suffering and pain. Cow Is Injured (puncture-Wound Inside Ear)

This afternoon, I noticed Cow did not look too well. He kept sleeping on the favourite chair and did not join the rest for lunch.He didn't look too good, I could feel it. I brought food for him and served him at the chair, and he ate it all up. At least that's not so worrying - he is still eating. My nightmare is when any animal stops eating. Azmira was in Cambodia last October and here's what she says:Dear Dr Chan,I was in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap last October. The flood at most places in Siem Reap was drying up. The flood had already gone down on the last day I was there which was on 22nd october while Phnom Penh has mostly dried up since early october. Death toll about 200+.
