My greatest fear for all outdoor animals.
A car accident.
Misty was knocked down by a car from the kindergarten this morning. In my morning walk, I saw Gerald and her at the park, then inside the neighbour’s porch. The next thing I knew before completing my third round was a phonecall from my husband saying Misty had been knocked down.

New Serai Plants For The Cats!

As much as we’ve scoured the entire park, we could not find Heidi’s grass for the cats anymore. So, the next best would be serai (lemongrass).

The Stars Were Aligned In Bunny’s Pantry

For the first time ever, all FOUR of the Blondies (including Samantha) came to wait for their breakfast this morning.
This has never happened before. Ever.
See? Only Akira went off when food was served. Something caught her eye.
But I still managed to get her to eat here, despite the uneven surface and the clackety-clacking sound of the bowl on the pebbles.
With them eating a proper breakfast, we have already skipped the mid-morning kibble snack for many days now. An achievement!!

Minor Chaos In The Porch

…Creamy was here.
He did not want wet food today, only kibble.
Gerald and Misty were both too scared to eat. It took some time to persuade Gerald, who was hiding under the car.
Misty was hiding in the neighbour’s roof and that took even more time.

Indra and Samantha came for breakfast!! But Indra did not eat much; she scooted off to play without finishing her food.
Akira and Kai ate a lot!! I kept adding and they kept eating.
Indra finally came back and ate heaps and heaps before it rained!

Tabs’ Daily Hide-And-Seek

Tabs is also a fussy eater, but she’s not as bad as the Blondies.
My issue with her is the daily hide-and-seek that I have to play in order to catch her for subcut and her morning supplements and again, for supplements in the evening. Sometimes, if I just give up, she will eventually come on her own after a few hours. Luckily I am always at home and I have the time to wait.

Another strike-lottery morning!
For two mornings now, Indra has been coming to the food station to wait for her morning breakfast of raw food. This may be nothing for other cats, but it’s huge for us!!
For example, the Monsters can’t wait to guzzle down their breakfast and I have to get them off the table so that I can dish the food into their bowls, but the Blondies? They would rather run off to play most of the time.

Tabs continues to intimidate Riley, especially in the bedroom upstairs. She doesn’t let Riley take the spot beside my pillow.

Some persuasion was needed to make Indra eat and it has to be in this position. He won’t eat anywhere else.
A fortuitous day – Akira and Kai are eating with Samantha!
Except for Minnie and Samantha, our females are super difficult to feed.
