Getting Ready To Move

It’s been a month since Bunny started behaving strangely, ie. looking not his usual self and sleeping only upstairs.
This morning, he came down for breakfast with Bobby. Bunny likes the home-cooked food, and for the past month, he has not asked for snacks in between. Can’t Please Everyone…

I know the New Year should not be a time for lamentation, but for me, every day (no, every moment), we make a fresh clean start and it is reality that every day, we will encounter problems.

Helping Kim And Her Dogs

We seem to be starting this year with happy news and that’s really encouraging.
Recently, we subsidised the spay-neuter of eight of Kim’s dogs at her shelter. Kim is a single lady looking after 30+ dogs including a paralysed one.

On 21st Dec 2011, a lady by the name of Ah Yoke called me regarding an owner who was about to throw her two-year old Husky out on the streets because she (the owner) did not have time to look after the dog anymore. Me Jane, You Tarzan (Mei Leng’s And Hanie’s)

Mei Leng rescued a little kitten (now named Jane) on New Year’s eve. Mei Leng needed a fosterer urgently as her dog, Perky, was trying to bite little Jane.

For A More Economical Brand Of Canned Food

I’d just go by what Dr Susanna has recommended when it comes to kibble-diet (Go!) and canned food since she has done extensive research on the ingredients used in most of the brands available on our Klang Valley market.
Her choice of quality canned foods:
1. Go!, Natural Balance, Addiction (above RM5)
2. Qiut (only fish) – more as a treat (RM3.90)
Option (2) would be for those who need slightly more economical food for their cats.

As you know, NONE of my 6 cats use the litter box. And whose fault is it? Mine, of course. When I started with my first brood of Cow, Bunny and Pole, I had not even touched a cat before all my life…until I brought the three 2-day olds home and desperately learnt how to nurse them day-by-day.
I didn’t pay much attention then to litter-box training. I got them a litter box and cat-sand, but soon they all migrated out to the grass and preferred that. I thought it was “better”...

Sunshine’s Acupuncture

On Friday, after Dr Susanna did Bunny and Indy’s acupuncture, she went to my friend’s to do Sunshine’s.
I did ask Dr Susanna how Sunshine is doing, and she says Sunshine is doing as well as she can be. There is progress every week.
We thank Dr Susanna very much for her generous contribution in giving Sunshine free treatment.
We only have to reimburse her for her transport for the housecall. The reimbursement of RM30 is from our Medical Fund.
