Neutering Aid For 2 Dogs In Rawang (Liew Kah Yan’s)

We have provided an aid of RM240 for the neutering of these 2 dogs.

There were both captured in a factory area of Rawang in the night. However due to the aggressiveness of the female dog, taking picture is only possible when she is in the cage. Will be releasing back after fully recovered, and will continue to feed them.

Zurik’s Check-Up (375ml Fluids Drawn)

Today was Zurik’s check-up.
His belly had already felt very turgid for a few days now. Prior to this, it was just soft and “fluidy”; not turgid. But for the past few days, it felt turgid, which is indicative of a fair amount of fluids in the abdomen.
The ultrasound on both sides of the lungs showed no change, which is good. But the ultrasound on the abdomen showed, as expected, much more fluids and this time, the fluids were not interspersed in the layers of fat.

Sweet Mr Zurik

Mr Zurik, as tough as he looks, is actually a very sweet and sensitive cat.
Ever since he was diagnosed with FIP, he has been living indoors and we share a very special bond.
He has to take his medicines three times a day (the RetroMAD1). The morning round has more medicines (steroids, Vetri DMG, Vit B Complex, fish oil) so that’s more challenging for us. Blanket No 216 – The Very Batik Doggie Blanket

Zurik’s Check-Up (150ml Fluids Drawn Out)

Today was Zurik’s check-up.
There was no increase in fluids in his left and right lung cavities. It looks like there is no more fluid leakage in these two places.
However, there appeared to be a slight increase in the abdominal fluids. Initially the vet thought it would not be necessary to draw out the fluids as the fluids were still interspersed in the layers of fat, but finally decided to do so.

Heidi has been following us for taiji for the longest time now. It’s been many years.
She has her own routine at the park too. First, she will roll around in the basketball court, then she goes to her “secret stash” of grass. Sometimes, if in the mood, she does sprints in the park and even climbs up a tree!

Indy and Bunny’s twice-weekly subcut sessions have been ongoing for a few months now. It helps tremendously in reducing the kidney readings as well as the predictive SDMA values.
In the last check-up, all kidney readings came down and Indy’s SDMA went from 15 to 13 (the borderline for kidney degeneration is 14) while Bunny’s SDMA went from 18 to 15.
