Baby Alligator/crocodile Relocated To The Zoo (Nandhini’s)

If you remember, Nandhini reported this to the Dept of Wildlife, but apparently, nothing could be done.
Undeterred, Nandhini went to the press, and as of last week, the baby alligator/crocodile has been taken to a zoo.
Perhaps having been taken away or bred in captivity, the baby alligator cannot survive in the wild anymore, so it may be better off in the zoo.

Food Subsidy For Kelly And Jacinta’s Dog Sanctuaries In Ipoh And Tanjong Rambutan

In July 2011, I highlighted the plight of Kelly Tan Juat Jong and Jacinta Victorine Emmanuel’s two dog sanctuaries in Ipoh and Tanjong Rambutan. These two ladies manage more than 100 dogs in their two shelters. Jacinta still works for a living, but Kelly does not. Kelly has also sold her house in order to raise the money to look after these dogs and maintain the shelters.

Ever since we netted our gate to prevent Bobby from accidentally slipping out when he goes for his daily walks in the garden, Mr Gorilla had stopped visiting our garden. Litter Matters

After about two weeks of testing out three brands of cat litter, I’ve decided to use a mixture of Ever Clean and Breeders Celect (paper litter).
Cat’s Pride was good for odour control, but it has too much dust and was not cost-effective for me because I’d end up scooping a lot of good un-used litter (because it doesn’t clump).

Little Kumquat was a tiny kitten picked up by my schoolmate, Sharon. Sharon had never handled such a tiny animal before, but she learnt. We communicated, she learnt a lot from the internet, Kumquat was brought to the vet for check-ups, and her two sons helped as well.

A Kitten With A Bulging Eye (Myza Nordin’s)

On the way to pick up Fitri today, with carrier and cage in the car, Myza saw a little kitten with a large bulging eye. The eye looked really bad, so Myza brought the kitten to the vet.
The vet advised surgery for the eye, and this has been sponsored by Myza’s friend.
Myza now needs an adopter for the kitten.

I communicated with Shain and suggested that she picks up the cat instead of waiting for help. So, it was done and the cat has now been treated.
