Ginger Passes On…(Alex Kam’s)

Ginger was an elderly street cat when Alex Kam rescued her in April 2011. Alex contacted me, I lent her my carrier, and Ginger was brought to the vet for a check-up. It was found that Ginger had mange.

Updates On Amira’s 11 Cats/kittens

I managed to speak with our vet regarding Amira’s cats/kittens. Client confidentiality is to be respected, so our vet cannot reveal details. Suffice to say that one kitten (who passed on yesterday) was already dying and could not be saved, but the rest was not in dire straits at all. It was just a case of needing proper advice on how to manage the herd.

Welcome To Bunny’s New Garden

Today, Bunny’s Garden got “repaired”….
The Philippine grass we had planted when we first moved in gradually died. I think it was due to the place being too shady, the poor water drainage from the soil as well as Cow and Bobby’s urine!
Anyway, our landscaper said Pearl Grass would be the only type that we could try growing in this shady part of the compound.

P opeye was rescued by a kind girl but both his eyes were found to be completely ruptured. We recommended our vet and the lady brought Popeye for a consultation. Surgery was advised and Popeye underwent the surgery to have both eyes removed to prevent further infection.

The Story Of Bobby (Megaa Velayuthan’s)

This is not my 16 year-old mixed poodle, Bobby, but Megaa Velayuthan’s cat, who is also named Bobby!
There may be something in the name “Bobby” as my Bobby (the dog) nurses baby kittens and Megaa’s Bobby also nurses kittens!

Fitri is now home with Myza and is well on his way to recovery. His journey in battling sporotrichosis has been a rather long one, but what matter is that he is well enough now.

The Black Guardians Of The Datuks

We’ve noticed this pack of black dogs for many months now. They live in the big field in Subang Jaya where there is a clump f trees and inside this clump, are the plaques of three “Datuk”s. My husband often says they are the guardians of the Datuks and on my part, I hope the Datuks will protect them from harm so that they can continue living there in peace. I was not able to be at the vet’s today, but anyhow, since we have a subsidy scheme now, there is also no necessity for me to be present at the vet’s. Confidentiality between vet and client is to be respected.
