Kitten For Fostering/adoption (Prem’s) 5th Jun 2012, by AnimalCare

Prem (who rescued the kitten) will be fostering the kitten until 4 weeks, after which, she would like to look for an adopter for the kitten. Or, if anyone is able to take over to foster the kitten, that would be most welcome too. It is a newborn, estimated to be about a few days to 1 week old and would need to ...

Baggy’s Adjustment To My Home And Her New Friends 4th Jun 2012, by AnimalCare
Thank you, everyone, for your concern about Baggy. I was particularly touched when many of you felt what I felt when I heard the pillow story. Just as you cried, imagine how it was for me.
But here’s reassuring you that Baggy is adjusting to my home – slowly but surely.
The vet says it normally takes about 2 months to adjust to a new environment. It has just been slightly over a month now. Baggy has a quiet personality; she is not the happy-go-lucky type. We have to give her time t...

And while in the previous post we talked about how dogs were domesticated and respected for how they helped our ancestors at hunting, and cats were equally respected and even worshiped, and we also said how times have changed…
Yes, it certainly has, sadly so. Dogs and cats these days are ill-treated, exploited, abused, killed.
Take a look at this: http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/crackdown -on-illegal-dog-fur-trade-20120602-1zor1.html#ixzz 1wjmQXkG8
It’s not new news, though, as ye...

Cats came at around 3000 BC. But, how and why they came, not surprisingly, remains, as cats still are today, mysterious…
Of course we think they ca...
