Pole Seems To Be Back To “normal”

After we came back from the clinic, Pole groomed herself for quite some time.
Then, she fell asleep on the shelf.
She slept for a long time.
In the evening, she went out to the garden and joined the rest for their evening sojourn. I watched her but she did not go anywhere near the litter-box, so I haven’t got to see her urinate yet.
As night fell, she was wide awake and kept walking all over the garden. She is still very active and agile, jumping easily from the ground to the shelves...

Pole Goes To The Vet’s

This morning as I was cleaning the pantry and changing the cat-litter in all the trays, I noticed Pole trying to urinate but only managed a drop (or none). She kept doing this a total of 5 times in half an hour.
Not being able to urinate is very serious, especially if the bladder is full, and I have never been able to feel the bladder, so I called my vet for an appointment. In fact, it is almost an emergency if the bladder is full. Unfortunately, my vet is full today and could not take in anymor...

Food For Karuna, Our Sponsored Dog

Karuna is one of our sponsored dogs and is currently looked after by Uncle. We have pledged to supply food for Karuna and sponsor all her medical needs. Karuna is estimated to be 13 years old. She was rescued at the temple grounds after being attacked by a pack of wild dogs. After treatment and recovery, we could not find any adopter for her. After a period of fostering by my mother, Uncle offered to look after Karuna.

For our participation in PetWorld 2012, we received 84kg of SmartHeart catfood and 120kg of SmartHeart dogfood through a facebook “like” survey organised by Petster.
The food arrived yesterday and all of the catfood has been given to Maslinda Abd Talib while the dogfood has been given to Mr Low Hang Hong. There were also several packets of dogfood donated by well-wishers and these were given to Mr Low as well.
