The Changing Of The Guard
26th Dec 2012, by AnimalCare

And we thought we’d only see this kind of ritual at Buckingham Palace? No, observe closely, and you will see it in cat colonies too, such as mine…  Ever since the new king ascended his throne yesterday, we saw a big shake-up in the entire hierarchy.  Make no mistake about it, folks, this IS the new king. At any time, he is on his throne. Regal. Majestic. Kingly.  And he is not the type of King who sits on the throne and lets his army be out at the frontlines. No sirree, like a...

The Blue Dustbin Congregation And Other News
25th Dec 2012, by AnimalCare

Merry Christmas, folks! This morning I woke up later than usual and as I looked out of the window, I saw a most delightful sight! Daffodil, Rosie and Timmy were congregating around the blue dustbin! It looked as though Timmy had invited them over for tea. But Ginger wasn’t at the party. I rushed down to get my camera. This was a priceless shot. Now, I know why Ginger wasn’t at the party. He was busy congregating with my brood, still not giving up in wanting to be friends. Tabs and C...

Making Keychains For Next Month’s Events
24th Dec 2012, by AnimalCare

We have a few events lined up for next year, so it’s time to make more keychains!  My mum is a handicraft person at heart, so she really enjoys making these keychains for our fundraising. But after making 3 more, I got the hang of it and it was really fun!  It’s all about dexterity with the pliers to make the hooks. That...
