The Kinabalu Team Arrives Home!!

Hillary’s father called to say the team would be arriving on the 3.55pm flight from Kinabalu. We had already planned to welcome them back from the airport and to give them our fresh-from-the-oven Chinese New Year tshirts (sponsored by Tabs & Associates).
So, Connie and I left for KLIA from Subang Jaya and we reached KLIA on time. The flight had just touched down.

I’ve been working on this and waiting for this for MONTHS now and it’s finally arrived!!
Our pink tshirts!! Ladies and children’s cut only.
Ladies 34, 36, 38, 40, 42 and Child 28.
We changed suppliers; it’s still fully combed cotton but the cutting is slightly different. I used to wear Ladies 38, but for this cutting, it’s Ladies 36 for me.

Ever since Ginger and family migrated into the patio, my inside brood has not been happy. The outside family’s presence has indeed upset, particularly, Cow, Bunny, Indy and Tabs.
So, spraying had intensified and tripled or maybe even quadrupled. Thank goodness the walls are tiled now. Phew, it sure makes cleaning so much easier.
But I had to do something to protect the wooden doors from being destroyed.

Feeding Timmy

Ever since Ginger chased Timmy out of my house compound two days in a row, poor little Timmy has not dared to come back.
So, he just wanders around the playground (which isn’t so bad because it’s a big playground and there is no other cat there after the breakfast group disperses from the pavilion) and goes from blue dustbin to blue dustbin.

Spaying Subsidy For 1 Female Cat, Also For Adoption (Mary Yap Mie Ling’s)

It seems to be raining cats in Mary’s apartment area and the management is not happy (due to complaints from the residents). Three (good-looking) cats were found loitering around the apartment area a few weeks back and luckily they got adopted shortly after that because the management only gave a week for the cats to be removed, else they would call the catchers in.
Now, a few more cats have appeared.

Medical Subsidy For Stray Mother-Dog (Loh Foong Yee’s)

This is the distemper survivor and now, has mange. We have subsidised RM50.50 for her treatment. The sad news is that the puppy who follows this mother-dog passed away a few days ago of distemper. The puppy probably contracted the disease from this mother-dog. Such is life on the streets. Foong Yee can only do what she can as she lives in an apartment that does not allow any pets.
And we too, can only do what we can, and that is, to subsidise the medical needs of this mother-dog and the puppy. F...

This story goes back one-and-a-half years when Dr Veeranoot decided to rescue a pregnant mother-cat off the streets in Section 17, PJ, on one rainy day.
