Animal Awareness Day At Universiti Malaya (Thursday, 17th Jan)!

We’ll be opening our booth at the Animal Awareness Day on Thursday, 17th January, at Centrepoint, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, from 8am-3pm. The event is open to the public, so do drop in and pick up our free books or support us in purchasing (by donation) our tshirts, keychains, soap, toothpaste and other goodies. Dogfood For Mr Low Hong Hang’s North Port Dogs And Neutering Plans For The Dogs

Mr Low feeds about 20-30 abandoned dogs on a barren piece of land in North Port. Today, we sponsored 10 packs of dogfood (from Avant Pet) for this dog community. This sponsorship comes from our Food Fund and Andy Lew.

“Yes! We Made It!!” – The Kinabalu Expedition (a Sharing By Mabel Soo)

On 28th Dec, the Kinabalu-4, a team of teenagers comprising Hillary Kon, Mabel Soo, Marco Soo and Brian Goh, scaled South East Asia’s highest peak to raise funds for AnimalCare. They were accompanied by their parents and friends.

70 Gerbils Adopted From The Laboratory! (Dr Veeranoot Nissapatorn’s)

It was on 27th March 2012 that we publicised these gerbils for adoption (from the laboratory in the university). These are gerbils who were due for euthanasia.

This is a tabby, like a cross between Tiger and Tab’s colour and he is BRAVE.
