Another Dishonest Applicant

A few days ago, another case of gross dishonesty of one of our applicants was highlighted to us. We investigated further and found more proof of this applicant’s dishonesty which involved doing multiple claims, cheating and telling blatant lies.
After we started investigating, we have now received reports from several different sources confirming this applicant’s dishonesty.

Catfood For Maslinda’s Community Cats

Bunny Is Still Limping

The slight improvement is that at least Bunny joined the rest for meals yesterday.

Mr Quack Is Doing Well!

It’s been sometime since we last heard from Mr Quack’s adopter. Well, here is his latest photo. According to the adopter, Mr Quack is doing well and has not been aggressive to cats. However, he is still not friendly to humans.
He is socializing more with the cats and now hangs out at the living area instead of just under my bed. However, he still has problem with humans.

I removed Bunny’s e-collar after a few hours because I could see how uncomfortable it was for him and I do understand that stress does NOT help in recovery. In fact, it is detrimental to recovery. Moreover, I consulted another vet on Bunny’s case and he felt that the antibiotics ought to be enough. He didn’t even think the iodine and cream would be necessary. Cats will lick, he said. And the e-collar is very stressful on any animal. I agree on both counts.

I had been battling with the idea of whether I should get the Patio Family vaccinated. After all, the cat community here is controlled and the area is not heavily populated, unlike my old neighbourhood. Medical Sponsorship For White Foot (Pak Din’s Cat)

We have not heard from Pak Din (Nordin Hashim) for quite sometime, but I have been in touch with Mr Chew Teng Ngin and Mr Chew informed us that Pak Din has ample dogfood and catfood supply for the animals under his care.
Recently, Pak Din brought a cat, White Foot, for treatment. We have fully sponsored RM125 for the treatment. This sponsorship comes from our Medical Fund (50%) and the balance is topped up by Kok Khee Wee.

It Took FOUR People To Manage Bunny At The Vet’s

The morning started with breakfast in bed for Bunny. His appetite is intact, so that’s not so worrying.
Bunny did not want to walk, so I carried him to the garden so that he could do his pee and poo.
He urinated, but quickly went to hide in the rattan trunk. Tiger kept him company.
The rattan trunk is all broken, but it’s the cats’ “safe haven”, so we kept it for them.
Broken to us, but it’s security for them.

Poor Bunny…

Bunny must have sprained his paw yesterday as we noticed he was limping slightly.
But this evening, it took a turn for the worse and he limped even more. All morning and afternoon, he seemed well.
It was already 8pm when we noticed it and the vet had already closed.
He kept licking the paw.
It’s the right paw and it is slightly swollen.
Poor Bunny…
I was really worried, so I gave him Vetri DMG to be on the safe side. We checked his arm and could not find any wounds. I suspect it...

Indy was caught bullying Cleo yesterday…
Oh no!
Poor Cleo…look at her ears.
But I know Cleo can certainly defend herself.
At this point, I intercepted and broke up the fight because Indy was about to charge already.

One Puppy Adopted From Kelly & Jacinta’s Shelter

Dog-Neutering Subsidy Revised To RM150!
