Indy’s Day Out!

Since we were home all day today, we thought we should let Indy out of Bunny’s Place as “compensation” for removing his launching pad and thereby removing his only avenue for fun and adventure.
But of course, Tabs was quick to sneak out first…

Poor Indy…

Indy had been quite unhappy all day ever since we “tore down” his launching pad this morning. I don’t blame him. Just as he had found something so exciting and adventurous, we had to curb and literally destroy his newfound hobby, ambition and achievement. That would be quite a blow on any teenager…like Indy.
I hope we can somehow make it up to him…
Hopefully he finds something new to do, something that won’t endanger his life.

Another RM300 Subsidy For Michelle Lee Soke Hui’s Rescued Cat

We just published updates (above) on Michelle Lee’s rescued cat who had undergone IM-pin insertion to correct a fractured leg. Angel Inc has very graciously offered to subsidise another RM300 to help Michelle settle the bill.
To date, our subsidy stands at:

Julia & Friends: RM200
Angel Inc: RM300
Total: RM1000

Medical Subsidy For Hope, Dog With Injured Testicle (Eng Geok Bee’s)

Mdm Eng Geok Bee feeds the stray dogs in the Semenyih and Broga area. Recently, she rescued this dog with an injured testicle and the bill is RM690 for the scrotum removal surgery, medication, vaccination and required hospitalisation. We have subsidised RM345 for this case from our Medical Fund (50% of the bill) and Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre has subsidised RM100, making it a total subsidy of RM445 for the dog.

Spaying Sponsorship For 1 Female Dog (Elize Wong Wai Leng’s)

We have fully sponsored RM150 for the spaying of this female dog from the OUG market area, brought in by Elize Wong Wai Leng. This sponsorship comes from our Medical Fund (RM100) and Kok Khee Wee (RM50). The case has been verified with the vet. In fact, the vet helped to catch the dog.
The dog appears to be a cross-breed, according to the vet.
The dog has fully recovered now and has been returned to her colony.

“The Corner Of The Great Escape” – Dismantled…or So We Think?

First thing this morning…
Indy was let out of the condo and he made a beeline to “the Corner”, with Bunny in tow.
The shelf got to go, also because my contractor says there is a major delay with the polycarbonate…sigh. We just cannot risk Indy making another grand escape.
I brought Indy inside so that he didn’t have to suffer the heartache of seeing his shelf “go”.

The Midnight Spider-Cat Watch

This is clearly a case of OCD, isn’t it?
Indy was staring at the “Corner of the Great Escape” all night.
At around 11pm, he finally got some rest, but only in this basket, facing the “Corner of the Great Escape”.
Cow was blissfully unaware of the goings-on outside.
Pole/Dory thought “someone” was chasing her again and created quite a scene.

The 5pm check: All poofed out from the whining.
The 5.30pm check: Still poofed out.

All Peaceful Outside

Mr G is a regular at meal-times these days.
All is peaceful at the patio. There are no fights, except for Timmy trying to get to everyone’s food because he eats at lightning speed.
Licking every platter clean, Timmy?
Timmy has no where to go. This is his home.
He is really, really good-natured and very well-behaved.
He’s just extremely hungry most of the time (but he is dewormed). A natural big-eater, I would say.

Pole Goes All-Dory

About once every month, Pole goes “Dory” for a few days.
That’s when she dashes all over in a make-believe game of being chased by “someone”.
We call it the “Dory Syndrome”, after the Dory character in Finding Nemo.
Someone’s after me!!
She hid under the bench, and is now coming out, but with great caution.
(Actually, nobody is chasing her at all.)
Cleo watches her mum, a bit confused.

Suffering Is…

…when there is an electrical power outage (failure), which was what happened from around 11am today until a few minutes ago.
That’s when we comfort ourselves by saying that a water cut would be much worse…wouldn’t it? (You can’t flush the toilet, yucks!)
