Technopreneur Week With Lester Hiew And Friends

Lester Hiew, a student in my college, is also an applicant to our fund. Sometime last week, Lester enquired if he could raise funds for AnimalCare as a project in the college’s Technopreneur Week. Just a few weeks ago, Lester and his friends had successfully raised funds for Second Chance at the college.

We were right that Cow has mellowed over the years and we all agree that Cow is very well-behaved these days except for the occasional crankiness (who isn’t at times, right?).

Bunny’s Fun In The Sun (or “When Timmy Met Bunny”)

This morning, while I was at work and the two boys (husband and son) were at home, Bunny managed to sweet-talk them into giving him a romp in the garden.
Apparently, there was an encounter between Timmy and Bunny, but it was “peaceful”. This proves that Bunny doesn’t simply pick fights. He just bullies. When Timmy met Bunny, there was no growling but Bunny stool tall, and Timmy backed off. Smart boy…walk away when you sense impending trouble.

Spaying Subsidy For 1 Female Cat (Thong Seiw Ling’s)

We have subsidised RM100 for the neutering of 1 female cat, rescued by Thong Seiw Ling. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM50) and Berjaya Cares (RM50).
The vet recommended our fund to her. Mdm Thong is not internet-savvy and I have also spoken to Mdm Thong on the phone. She will get her sister to do the emailing for her in future.

I just received a call from the vet with news on Bonny.
Bonny’s TVT has subsided a lot and this week, the vet will proceed with the 2nd jab. Bonny is eating very well and appears happy (as always). However, the main concern is she is still pale despite her good appetite.
Samples of the removed spleen has been sent to the lab for tests and the results will only be known after 2 weeks.
