War At The Pantry

Two nights ago, we heard a loud noise on the roof…
For possibly the first time ever (since the fall of the Berlin Wall on that same day), three titans formed a united front to battle the intruder on the roof.
The united front remained for many memorable minutes until one decided to form a back-up and two titans were left at the front lines.

However…either due to too many incidence of intrusions and incursions by alien parties, a ferocious fight broke out at the pantry...

Willy Comes Back…and So Does Mr Zurik

Yesterday evening, Willy came back for an early (undisturbed) dinner…
The little guy was waiting for me at his usual spot.
He looks so small and helpless…I’m glad he got to eat peacefully (Zurik-free).
About two hours later when it was dark, I heard cat growling and whining at the patio.
Of course that only means ONE thing…

The Task Of Feeding Willy

I was a little late this morning and the morning started with Mr Zurik and Vincent locking horns at the patio. But I managed to quickly defuse the situation and everyone was happily eating within minutes.
Then I went outside to look for Willy.

From my limited experience, what really helps is to have this feeling of unconditional kindness (which has to be cultivated through practice). This will alleviate any fear that we may have. Dogs (or any animal for that matter) sense and perceive fear as negativity and might attack simply because of that perception that they get from us.
