As you know, Lester Hiew and his mother, besides feeding the various colonies of dogs in several housing estates every midnight, also drive to three industrial sites once a week to feed many abandoned dogs there.

AnimalCare started as a Neutering Fund way back in May 2009. From there, we expanded it to include medical treatment, hence it became a Medical Fund. Soon after that, needy applicants requested petfood so we started a Food Fund as well.

Oh No! There Was Fur Flying All Over!!

There was a huge fight at the patio this morning. It was the unmistakable shrill sound of catfight and it was between Mr G and Vincent. They were locked in fierce battle.
Mr G had been going on the aggressive for the past few days. He attacked Heidi and Timmy, and Timmy took it out on poor Daffodil last night, cornering the poor girl onto a pile of books.

The Nutri+Gen Chitosan Is A Big Hit!

This small little sample is only 12g and it says on the tube to give 2g to a “small pet” and 4g to a “medium pet”. I suppose it’s safer to start small, hence, 2g, which means I can use this tube 6 times.
Bunny LOVED it and asked for more!
Gosh…it smells like the seasoning in instant noodles.
I gave Cow and Tiger too.
The rest of the brood doesn’t need it.

Medical Subsidy For 4 Community Cats In Ipoh (Lee Chew Keang’s)

This bill for Mimi and Fat Girl is RM41 (for oral medication). The bill for Bo and Tak is RM123 (for consultation, CBC, fecal check, an injection and an oral mixture).
We have subsidised RM82 for both bills. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM32) and Berjaya Cares (RM50).

Meanwhile, the brood has been having fun with the alien bug and this is my supplementary plan to complement the Hara Hachi Bu Diet (some excitement and exercise for the otherwise sedentary cats!).

Playtime is strictly monitored and the bug is kept safely in a drawer once playtime is over.

A few nights ago, in the middle of the night, we heard shuffling sounds in the bedroom. Upon checking, it was a cat trying to get in through the green netting on the window.
This green netting was installed because previously Mr G’s friends would come in through the window from the roof and urinate on our bed! Yes, Mr G did that as well.
