Heidi Went Missing…but Came Back! 18th Jan 2014, by AnimalCare
Heidi is an elderly cat who literally came running to me on 15th July 2013, early in the morning.
Here’s how Heidi came: http://myanimalcare.org/2013/07/15/heidi-a- member-of-tabs-inc/
Based on whatever I know, I’m 100% sure Heidi was a pet previously. She doesn’t have any feral behaviour at all. How she came to be waiting for me at the culvert that morning, I don’t know, but Heidi has stayed ever since.
The vet said she is an elderly cat, no less than 7 years old and ...

The Patio-8 17th Jan 2014, by AnimalCare
Furthest to the right is….Willy!!
But he did not come in by himself. We brought him in.
Still under maximum protection, of course.
Keeping two at bay – the greedy one and the bully.
Note: Greedy One has finished his food. I don’t think he even chews.
And the stormtrooper too, of course.
Can I make an announcement? I have finished my food!!
Can anyone hear me out there? I have finished my food!!
That means, you either let me out OR you give me more food, get it?
Willy i...

A Tale Of Willy, Vincent And Mr Zurik 16th Jan 2014, by AnimalCare
Hot news! Willy came into the porch all by himself and waited at the wooden bench for dinner!
He still eats warily, looking over his shoulder after every few bites.
Later, Mr Zurik was found lurking near the drain, where Willy used to wait.
He’s had his dinner together with the PatioCats earlier while Willy dined at the wooden bench.
A common sight. A daily sight.
It’s a lot of noise but so far, there is no physical contact of any kind, so it isn’t worrying.
Can be easily br...

At the patio, everybody’s waiting too.
This morning, we had a special guest.
Of course, we brought him in from the culvert outside.

23 Canvas Bags For A Good Cause – For The Teenagers And The Animals! 14th Jan 2014, by AnimalCare
One of AnimalCare’s very first supporters, Ho Yuen Foon, ordered 23 canvas bags to be given to her Sunday School teenagers in an effort to encourage them to use canvas bags instead of plastic bags.
A good start for them!
Normally, Yuen Foon would purchase our tshirts for her class at the beginning of every year, but this year, she thought canvas bags would be good for a change. Teenagers outgrow their clothes but a canvas bag lasts for decades and can be passed on to the next person.

Training Willy 14th Jan 2014, by AnimalCare
With the (un)neighbourly complaints and crime rate on the rise, it seems wiser and safer to feed Willy inside our compound.
But he is so terrified of Mr Zurik and Vincent, so this calls her concerted efforts to train him.
We’ve been bringing him into the compound every now and then.
Daffodil’s family does not chase him. They are friendly.
It’s Vincent whom we have to look out for.
If you remember, in January last year, Vincent and Willy came to the patio on the same day, a...
