Spaying Subsidy For 1 Female Cat (Pua Beng Hwo’s)

Pua Beng Hwo is a dog rescuer in Cheras. She recently rescued a female cat and got her spayed. We have subsidised RM100 for this spaying. Mdm Pua is not internet-savvy but we have spoken to her on the phone. She gets her friend to help her fill up the form and post the form and receipt to us. She sends the photos through whatsapp. She will be getting some dogs neutered soon.

My son, Jia-Wen, often boasts that he is the only human family member who has not been bitten by Cow. Of course, to maintain this “clean, unbitten” record, one needs to be extremely careful, mindful and swift in handling Cow. One must know how many seconds one is allowed to pat him, how to hold him and when to let go completely so that one’s limbs are not within the “biting range” of Cow’s jaws.

A Monge Catfood Treat For The 15 Rescued Cats

Recently, we helped 16 abandoned cats find a home. These cats were abandoned by their owners and a friend offered to take them all in. One of the cats passed on of FIV last Friday, but the other 15 are doing well.
One of our readers recently donated 8 boxes of assorted flavours of Monge Cat canned food to these cats, in memory of her beloved cat, Tux-boy.

That’s Ginger waiting outside the bathroom for me.
Heidi and Mr Zurik do it too, when Ginger isn’t around. Very often, I will find both Heidi and Ginger waiting for me on this mat. Heidi even goes upstairs if I use the bathroom there.

Dogfood Donation For The Rescued Pound Dogs

One of our readers has donated 107 cans of dogfood for the remaining 9 rescued pound dogs. The dogfood was sent to PAWS yesterday.
We thank our reader very much for her kindness.
This dogfood donation is made in memory of her beloved Tux-boy.
This consignment is also brought through AnimalCare, so a portion of the donation comes to our Fund for the animals. This way, not only do the 9 dogs benefit, so do the animals who come through us for subsidies.

One Rescued Pound Dog Passes Away

One of the rescued pound dogs (from Eugene Lee’s rescue) passed away peacefully yesterday.
This photo was taken when I visited two days ago. According to the caretakers, he was still happily eating yesterday. Perhaps his time was up.
May he be in a better place now.
There are 9 dogs left now, under the SAPP.

With regard to the above, we have received feedback from applicants that their vets use the calendar month for the date of the booster, which is 30-31 days after the first vaccination. In light of this, yes, we will accept and subsidise if the booster is given after one calendar month from the first shot. This means, no later than one calendar month.

So, Angry Birds (1) has raised RM500 for the animals now! RM333 from Luna Moonfang, who gave the blanket as a gift to Agnes Cheong and Agnes topped it up by RM167 to make it a round figure of RM500. And Agnes is now offering it back to us for reauction, so, can Angry Birds (1) fetch at least another RM150 for the animals?

If you refer to the link above, one of the 9 dogs who were supposedly vaccinated on 14th February was not vaccinated as she was found with a gaping wound on her body. So, only 8 dogs were vaccinated that day and we left the payment for one vaccination to be forwarded to the next dog or for the booster for one of the 8 dogs.
