Tiger Day 27 2nd Apr 2014, by AnimalCare
I restarted Tiger on Transfer Factor two days ago, and am going to continue with this supplement as I believe it helps with the sporotrichosis treatment. I stopped Transfer Factor sometime last week and the sporo sores went on a roller-coaster ride, so I’m going to make sure he gets his 1 capsule of TF every night now. The best thing is that Tiger quite likes the taste so I can open up the capsule and mix it with his food. He licks it all up!
About Transfer Factor and what it does: http:/...

Prepare to have your heart melted.
Because they bring us joy.
Because they are at our mercy.
Because they teach us kindness.
And compassion.
And understanding.
Because they are voiceless.
Because they wish us no harm.
Because they are our companions.
And because we are all animals.
We will never stop being a voice, for them.
Help us create a kinder world f...

Another Peek-A-Boo Tabby Bag (with A Notched-Ear!) For Little Carlie 1st Apr 2014, by AnimalCare
Carlie wanted so much to win Bag No. 9 (Peek-a-Boo Tabby): http://myanimalcare.org/2014/03/26/a-peek -a-boo-tabby-bag-bag-no-9-for-auction/ but she lost the bag to Winnie the Cat.
So Carlie asked her human, Joy, to ask if my mum would be willing to sew a smaller version of Peek-a-Boo Tabby for Carlie as she wants to give it as a birthday present to a relative.
Well, how can you say “no” to a request from a kitten, right?
So, for a generous donation from Carlie, we present Peek-a-Bo...

Will this finally end it?
http://edition.cnn.com/2014/03/31/world/asia/j apan-whale-hunt/index.html?sr=fb033114whalehunt11a story
There is much talk about ending cruel practices towards animals (the seal hunt, the whale hunt, animal testing, etc.) but when you speak with people in the respective countries, they often tell you it’s still going on despite what the media reports. So we herald the news, but in reality…is it put into practice?
But we continue HOPING that this news is for ...

Tiger, After 26 Days Of Sporo Treatment 1st Apr 2014, by AnimalCare
I thought I should compile these photos to show myself that I haven’t deceived myself into believing that Tiger is healing!
The left front paw:
“Gang of Four”
The left hind leg:
“Gang of Eight”
The tail:
I think it has healed.
Hasn’t it?
Of course, there are still those on the hips, which I am monitoring too.
We’ll get there, Tiger, slowly but surely…

Bunny….! (caught Red-Handed Again!) 1st Apr 2014, by AnimalCare
I heard the familiar war-cry again in the Clubhouse just now.
I know for sure it’s Bunny bullying Tiger AGAIN.
BUNNY!!!
Stop it, Bunny!!
Tiger didn’t even flinch. But he does look a wee bit intimidated.
Bunny wouldn’t budge, so I had to approach the warring one.
He then moved off…reluctantly.
He even had time to do a stretch.
Cow watched from under the chair.
Oh-oh…am I going to be punished?
Note that Tiger hasn’t moved from his position on the slabs.

Rosie & Daffodil, Cleo & Pole 1st Apr 2014, by AnimalCare
Photos to warm your heart…
According to Mukda, Daffodil had been living as a stray cat at the playground for at least 10 years because that’s as long as Francis and Mukda had been feeding her and watching her get pregnant (too often) and carting her litters everywhere. Her only surviving children are Rosie and Ginger.
Francis and Mukda could not catch Daffodil for spaying (but got Ginger and Rosie neutered when they were very young). We only got Daffodil spayed (finally!) after we m...
