The Art Of Cuddling Cow (without Having To Get A Tetanus Jab)

Carrying and cuddling Cow successfully without getting an ear bitten off or having to rush to the doctor’s for a tetanus jab is…an art.
Step 1: Only do it if you are confident and have NO fear.
Step 2: Scoop him up without hesitation, and in a quick semi-circular movement of both arms, from behind. Never attempt to carry him from the front (that would be suicide).

A Puppy Rescue

Recently, we were alerted to a litter of abandoned puppies. We made some calls and a friend volunteered to rescue the puppies. Since no adopter could be found, PAWS agreed to take in the puppies as they were estimated to be more than 2 months old.
Unfortunately, one puppy did not make it after two days and two more succumbed after a week.

Pro-Life And No-Kill

One night not so long ago, a lady called me. She introduced herself as a cat rescuer who has been getting street cats neutered for ages. She called because she had just taken in this heavily pregnant cat (“going to deliver anytime soon”, she said) and asked if it would be alright to spay the cat.
I said no, please. Let the cat deliver first, and after the babies are done nursing, she can then get the cat spayed.

It Was Eight Years Ago….yesterday!

How time flies!
It was exactly eight years ago yesterday (7th May 2006, Mother’s Day) that I rescued Cow, Bunny and Pole as mere day-old newborns from the roadside. Prior to that, I was only a dog-owner who had never touched a cat all my life.
The rest, as they say, is history.

7 More Cats/kittens Rescued And Rehomed

Looks like many cats and kittens are being abandoned – it’s a never-ending story.
We were alerted to some abandoned cats with kittens (a total of 5 adults and 2 small kittens) and again, the kind-hearted adopted agreed to take them in.
Today was the rescue and rehoming…
It was a long car journey…but we soon reached their forever-home.
We are here, kitties!
The other cats greet them and welcome them warmly.

Snow White Has Been Adopted!

Snow White (name given by us) was the little puppy found under the van at the temple by its caretaker, Harsha. Harsha looked after her and soon, a lady adopted her from the temple and all was well until the lady brought Snow White back and left her at the temple again without any word. Harsha discovered that Snow White could not walk anymore and feared paralysis or a broken leg.

Black Tshirts – All Sold Out!

Our target was to sell off all the Grey, Blue, Green and Red tshirts, but instead, Black caught everyone’s eye and as of this evening, we have sold out completely on all our Black tshirts!
For now, the supplier still does not have any black cloth so we would have to wait until the next shipment of cloth arrives.
