Wesak Eve And Wesak Day In SJBA

Yesterday was Wesak Eve and Connie and I set up our booth at around 6pm.
The early birds got the parking space!
And we were the first booth up.
Our merchandise and free books were in place.
Luckily we received a new stock of 99 bottles of Path-Away and had some Bacoff sprays left for this event. We couldn’t get new Bacoff sprays as they were closed for stock-check until this weekend.

Further Feedback On Path-Away, From Sarawak

Here’s another feedback:
i’ve been using pathaway on my recent adopted dog from a local shelter. He used to lick, bite, scratch and rub himself on the object all the time but after using it once (and sometimes twice) a day for 3 weeks, the redness is reduced and some bald patches is slowly healed (notice the spot near his eye and ear?).
I believe its the combination of home cooked food and pathaway helps the healing. Im getting 2nd bottle to continue to combat the red sore on his ...

Rosie’s Three Suppers And Breakfast

Last night, Rosie asked for supper…three times! Looks like she is making up for that one missed dinner on Saturday (when she had fever) and that’s indeed a good sign.

A Kenduri And The Cats Disappear!

There was a kenduri on my road today and all morning, there were trucks going by and soon, lots and lots of visitors arrived.
The cats were wary and stayed in the porch. In fact, Daffodil was smart, she was inside the house all day.
However, soon, the kenduri started and they played loud music.

Rosie Eats Her Breakfast (“I Protest In The Strongest Terms At Being Caged”)

Last night, Rosie was whining most pitifully in the cage. I was a little worried that she was holding her urination as the vet had said her bladder was full when we were there (which was at 7pm) and it was approaching midnight. Holding the urination for so long isn’t good, I thought. There was no urine in the litter box (lined with newspapers) but Rosie had scratched at the newspapers and thrown them out and also messed up her box with the towel.

11.10pm: Rosie Eats!

So Rosie was making a racket in the cage for quite sometime and I just had to let her be.
It wasn’t Ginger or Daffodil accompanying her, but Timmy.
But we did wonder whether Timmy is accompanying Rosie or just staking a claim on his cage…
By about 11pm, I went to check on Rosie and found that she had almost toppled her litter box, her water bowl was full of litter (oh my gosh!) and her cage needed to be reorganised.

Rosie Has A Fever

Rosie did not come for dinner today, and I thought she was holed up somewhere due to the rain. I went to look and found her inside the big box in the porch. I thought she was afraid of the rain, so I brought a bowl of food to her but she wasn’t interested.
After the rain, I brought food to her again, and still, she did not want to eat. I tried Monge, kibbles and Natural Balance. She had no appetite.

Willy’s Visits!

Willy has been visiting often these days. He does drop in for breakfast and dinner on certain days, especially on weekends.
He normally comes in from the garbage compartment and he makes sure I see him when I’m at the patio.

Cats Don’t Need Luxury Items

Yes, cats do need proper care and this includes veterinary care, medical treatment, good nutrition, enough space, etc. but they normally do not need luxury items as humans do.
For example:
A clean tiled floor on a hot afternoon is ideal for a snooze.

Cow and Cleo simply LOVE this hiding space. It’s better than any tunnel toy that you can purchase from the shops.
