Why I Am Angry (by Indy) 27th May 2014, by AnimalCare
Indy has asked me to post this because he says it’s unfair that the readers only hear the human’s point of view in all these blogposts. He wants his cat-views heard today. Also because Bunny had his limelight over the “I’m not obese anymore” post, so Indy wants his today. (Shh…it’s called “attention seeking, but hush, okay, okay, that’s from a human’s point of view).
So, dear readers, here goes…straight from Indy’s mouth:

Spaying Subsidy For 3 Rescued Dogs, Now Adopted In Johor Bahru (Loh Chuan Chyi’s) 26th May 2014, by AnimalCare
We have fully sponsored RM150 for the neutering of the male dog and subsidised RM300 for the spaying of the two female dogs.
Initially, we only received an email with photos of these dogs (without any message). There was, however, a phone number later, so I called but there was a communication problem as Mr Loh could not speak English or Cantonese and before I could revert to Bahasa Malaysia, he had hung up.
He managed to get his clerk to reply to our email and we have called the vet to verify t...

Cow Wars 26th May 2014, by AnimalCare
Today was a day of Cow wars.
It started with Ginger standing right outside the grille.
Ginger was just looking in.
Cow was already foaming at the mouth.
I could hear Cow huffing and puffing like the Big Bad Wolf.
While Ginger looks completely innocent.
I had to break up the escalating anger before Cow lost his mind.
Then, later, Cow and Indy were both standing at the grille and suddenly, I heard a explosive “Bang!”.
I don’t know who hurled himself at the grille but I think ...

Ref: http://myanimalcare.org/2014/05/19/ivan-and- justin-a-rescue-and-rehome-story/
It was on 19th May that little Ivan sauntered into my computer lab one morning. I guess someone had dumped him at the college grounds as he looked very lost. I picked him up and Connie helped send him to the vet’s for a check-up. As I was leaving the college, another younger kitten was found at the parking lot, also looking very helpless. I named him Justin and also brought him to the clinic.
Ivan was give...

Bunny Bun Buns’ Day 4 26th May 2014, by AnimalCare
Here’s…..Bunny!
He is okay and has been taking his Clavomox obediently (wrapped in food, of course).
As of yesterday, there was no more soggy mass. The wound has healed but I still continue spraying Path-Away on it.
I’m quite amazed that despite his FIV+ condition and his age, Bunny did not get a fever with that deep wound and he also healed fast compared to his health condition years ago (at a younger age) when a simple wound would lead to a fever, a sneeze would lead to a t...

Igor And Otto, Regular Visitors To The Patio And Bunny’s Place 25th May 2014, by AnimalCare
Igor and Otto have been visiting regularly…for kibbles!
They actually come in the moment the PatioCats have finished their food and happily eat up the remaining kibbles in Mr Zurik’s bowl. Or maybe Mr Zurik tells deliberately leaves some behind for them since they all belong to the KGB training camp!
There’s Otto enjoying his meal with Vincent right underneath.
Timmy can be restrained from attacking them.
Hello, Igor!
Otto and Igor do go into Bunny’s Place sometime...

Man’s Best Friend…not Loved By Everyone 25th May 2014, by AnimalCare
We still have some way to go in education and compassion.
http://www.themalaymailonline.com/mala ysia/article/mans-best-friend-not-loved-by-everyon e
PETALING JAYA, May 24— It appears that a blind person with a guide dog cannot use public transportation. Worse, in an exercise by Malay Mail to test public response to man and guide dog, Stevens Chan and Lashawn — Malaysia’s first and only guide dog — were chased out of a mall. We relate the experiences of our reporters and visually imp...
